Creació i anàlisi d'una proposta de l'àmbit de la ciència per infants de 0-3 anys

Abstract

L’interès d'aquest treball sorgeix en el moment que la investigadora veu que hi ha poca investigació sobre la ciència en 0-3 anys. Així doncs, es crea i es porta a terme una proposta científica pels infants d'aquesta etapa, s'analitzen aquelles actuacions que fan els infants i estan relacionades amb la part científica, concretament en el procés d’adonar-se de les diferents propietats d’un mateix material. Apareix un marc teòric que emmarca els conceptes importants: el concepte d'infant, l'aprenentatge de la ciència, la ciència en lliure elecció i del rol que ha de seguir l'adult. La recerca que s’ha portat a terme està basada en una metodologia qualitativa, ja que parteix de l’observació d’un grup d’infants. Per portar a terme aquest estudi s’han elaborat unes graelles d’observació per recollir diversos ítems per poder avaluar aquest procés d’aprenentatge que és l’objecte de l’estudi. Per poder concloure que els infants han portat a terme diverses actuacions on mostren un procés de reconeixement de la propietat del material.

The interest of this project arises from the low presence of science observed in children education from 0-3 years. Thus, a scientific proposal was created and carried out for the children of this stage. Those actions that the children do and are related to science, more concretely to the recognition of the different material’s properties, are analyzed. The theoretic framework encompasses the important approaches: the concept of child, science learning, science of free choice and the role the adult should follow. A qualitative methodology is used to carry out the research as it is based in the participant observation. Following this methodology, observation grids were developed gathering different aspects with which the learning process can be evaluated, fulfilling the project aim To conclude, children carried out several actions showing a recognition process of a material’s property.
