Abordatge del dol en familiars de pacients amb Covid-19 a la UCI

Abstract

El suport psicològic en situacions de pèrdua traumàtica és fonamental per evitar possibles complicacions en un futur. A causa de la Covid-19 aquest procés se n’ha vist més limitat, per aquest motiu aquest projecte estudiarà les experiències de persones que hagin tingut una pèrdua per Covid-19 a la UCI (Unitat de Cures Intensives) de l’Hospital de Sant Joan de Déu de Manresa (fundació Althaia). A mesura que avanci la investigació amb l’ajut dels participants, es veurà quin és l’impacte real després d’una pèrdua per Covid-19 i quines en són les seves conseqüències psicològiques. Seguidament, s’extrauran conclusions a fi d’aportar coneixement sobre el dol patològic a la comunitat científica. Es proposarà Conèixer les vivències dels cuidadors principals que han tingut una pèrdua d’un familiar per la Covid-19 a la UCI de l’Hospital Sant Joan de Déu de Manresa (fundació Althaia), englobant les emocions després d’una pèrdua dolorosa i en moltes ocasions inesperada. A fi de dur a terme aquestes propostes s’emprarà una basant qualitativa fenomenològica orientada a conèixer les vivències dels cuidadors que han patit una pèrdua d’un familiar per Covid-19. Els participants d’aquest estudi seran familiars dels pacient que hagin sigut èxitus per Covid-19 a la UCI de l’Hospital Sant Joan de Déu de Manresa (fundació Althaia). Finalment, els resultats de l’estudi poden ser d’ajut per a la comunitat científica que busca com tractar amb la gent que ha patit alguna situació traumàtica degut a la pandèmia causada per la Covid-19.

This study is focused on the experiences of those people who have had a loss due to Covid-19 at the hospital, Sant Joan de Déu de Manresa (fundació Althaia). As the project and investigation progresses with the aid of the participants, the real impact after the loss and its psychological consequences in a medium and long-term will be noticed. Finally, some conclusions will be drawn with the aim of contributing knowledge about the pathological mourning to the scientific community.The aim of this study is to get to know the personal experiences of those families who have lived a loss due to Covid-19 at the hospital Sant Joan de Déu de Manresa (fundació Althaia) taking into account their emotions and feelings after a painful loss without a previous process of mourning. Moreover, see how their daily lives change involving feelings like anxiety and uncertainty in front of this disease. To develop the study, a phenomenological qualitative study will be carried out focused on knowing the experiences of those people who have lived a loss of a family member due to Covid19. The participants of this study will be the close relatives of those patients that have died because of this disease at the hospital Sant Joan de Déu de Manresa (fundació Althaia). The final results of the current study can be useful for those scientific communities that seek how to treat and deal with people who have experienced a similar situation such as a traumatic one caused by Covid-19.
